PRESENTER BIO
Loxanne has always had a love of music, starting from borrowing her father’s and brother’s vinyl records, recording reggae and soul tracks from weekend radio shows on cassette tapes until she started her own collection of vinyl and cds which included from Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Afrobeats and Classical.
Eventually, she bought her own portable cd mixer and started bringing tunes to family events.
Around 2010, she came into contact with a former work colleague and, finding they had a mutual interest in music (one interested in Reggae and Afrobeats the other in popular music and R&B) they decided to form a female DJ duo (TDC) offering a unique experience hosting parties, weddings and other functions in London and the home counties as far a Bournemouth. They also had a Friday night residency at a restaurant in Ladbroke Grove. Hosting also including sponsored walk charitable events and more recently had bookings at the House of St Barnabas in London’s Soho.
Her music passion is across genres: Reggae, Soul, R&B, Jazz and, of course, Afrobeats - anything that lifts the spirit!
